Why it has to be Liveaboard…..in Derawan-Sangalaki

There are couple reasons that can answer to this question… and make you easily decided why it has to be liveaboard if you would like the best diving safari in Sangalaki-Kakaban and Derawan…

In the past, traveling to Derawan was quite difficult because there were few airlines operating the flight between Balikpapan and Tarakan. Besides, the flight was not scheduled on every day.

Today, the traveling has been totally changed. There are many airlines operating their flights between Balikpapan and Tarakan since they became the tourism city already.

Moreover, you can save your travel time by flight connecting within same day between Singapore airport (SIN) and Tarakan airport (TRK). After arrival at Singapore, you can connect Silk Air flight  (ETD 13.50 hrs)  to Balikpapan airport (BPN) ( ETA 16.10 hrs) . From there, a large aircraft of BataviaAir is waiting for you to directly fly to Tarakan (ETD 18.50 hrs). You will arrive Tarakan by 20.00 hrs. Our staff will take only 45 mins to bring you to Panunee… Then, you can start your diving safari at that night …..

In the same way as the departure date, you can also return to Singapore within the same day that you check out from our cruise.  After flying by BataviaAir from Tarakan to Balikpapan (ETD 07.45 hrs), you will arrive Balikpapan by 09.00 hrs and can capture the next flight from Balikpapan to to Singapore (ETD 11.10 hrs.). Just only 13.25 hrs, you will be in Singapore already….

You have not to waste time to stop over for 1 night on both ways anymore. It means you can save your cost of the hotel in Balikpapan.

The next important reason is that all dive locations are the remote area and far away from one another, reaching to each dive location by luxury & comfortable liveaboard is much better than spending an hour on speed boat… Making you enjoy every minutes of your valued vacation with your true relaxation is our mission. You will never be tired. Certainly,   you will be fresh and lively even at the end of the day.

In addition, communication through cell phone (digital GSM) is very easy here although you are cruising. You can connect to your country wherever you are.

In term of safety & security reason, sometimes if we are riding to the dive destination and passing the security check point, we will have marine police boat guarding us to our destination;
